So, What's "Udacha XCG"?
Udacha (oo-DAH-cha) is a Russian word translated as "fortune." Like its English counterpart, it can mean either "good luck" or "success" (as in "seek your fortune"). Cards' Fortune Number is a central mechanic of the game.
XCG stands for Expansible Card Game, and refers to the genre of games in which you choose cards from a library to form your deck before the game starts. Sometimes the terms TCG, CCG, or LCG are used for similar games, but I think XCG is the most accurate term.
Compared to some games in the genre, Udacha is noteworthy in that your goal is not to kill your opponent in a protracted battle. Instead, the victory condition is for you to play some Heroes and have them accomplish four "Quests" before your opponent's Heroes do the same.
Udacha is a two-player game that takes about 40 minutes to play, and feels like you're acting out a great fantasy novel as your cards make your Heroes do in-character things to further their goals.
